Woop woop. New job called me back and told me I start in two weeks. now I just have to haul my toolbox over there in my dads trucks...this time im emptying all my tools into separate containers. I lost a few tools when my box tipped over and had them all in it....But wooh new job.

First day as a manager, and my employee didn't show up. He's been extremely flaky since he started. My department of three became two and now it looks like it might be down to just me until the new girl starts next week. I can't say I'd be that sad if he did quit though, I'd actually be relieved because I've been keeping a log of sexual harassment incidents.

I feel like poo poo. My GERD has been flaring up all week and I've had really bad heartburn and shortness of breath. The earliest I can get in to see a specialist is June 18. I just want to not feel like poo poo

Tusen Takk, sorry for the wintergreen vaping comment from last thread. It was really just a poor attempt at ribbing you - lord knows I know how difficult it is to stop a nicotine addiction. My bad. My congratulations were heartfelt. My beard comb came in the mail today, since this is the longest I've ever let it get and I needed something to tame it a bit. I just combed my face for like ten minutes and now it feels numb and tingly and amazing. It's addictive.

I would like to say thanks and gently caress you to who ever suggested watching The Other F Word in the last thread. Watched it with the fiance(who was big into punk back in HS when we met) and it was awesome, but I have spent way too much money on itunes buying stuff I haven't listened to in years.

The problem is that we really need him to fill the position because we've been having a tough time trying to staff all of our BDCs through the company, so right now I'm playing the martyr and sacrificing my personal comfort in order to help our business and our customers. I get paid a bonus based on how well my department performs, and we can't perform at that level with just two people. I'm gonna be stressed out whether he stays or leaves.  The internet sales manager was showing me how to use our BDC tracking software to check on end-of-month performance reports. We were auditing his appointments, and he tried to take credit for several sales that he was not involved in, so it sounds like that will be another strike against him.

Question: when did this trend start on facebook of uploading viral videos in about 29p resolution with random clips edited in (like someone going "HOE DONT DO IT" or a baby laughing "at" the thing in question or whatever) instead of just the original video? Do people think stuff is funnier with "america's funniest videos"-style random wacky sound effects added in?
