They could have at least sent Howard away and let Rickles talk for himself.

it seemed like Rickles really wanted to talk to stern, maybe he asked him to stay on. Stern said it was the best gift to sit next to him at the end there.

it was fun seeing the three of them talking over one another, then coming back from the break. Hearing Rickles say "Hurry Up!" during the interview killed me.

Last night they had that rad metal band full of 12 year olds Unlocking The Truth sitting in with The Roots, which was awesome, but then they committed the cardinal sin of having them not be the musical guest but instead having the guy from Fun on to do some garbage rear end solo performance :argh:

Faith No More owned because Sol Invictus is an awesome album and they haven't lost a beat since 1998. Superhero was a great choice just because it shows you how insane Mike Patton is as a vocalist :stare:

I doubt it. TBS grabbed both Samantha Bee and Jason Jones from Comedy Central to produce for their network. I think it's fair to say they're betting long on Bee's show.

The fun part was picking out the pictures.

Re: Amy Schumer, I think she'll be fun. She did this brilliant piece on female guests on late night shows (featuring Bill Hader) Tuesday.

quote:

Amy Schumer Mocks Female Objectification on Late Night Shows

On Tuesday, Inside Amy Schumer aired a sketch addressing female objectification in celebrity late night interviews. Amy Schumer stars as "Amy Lake Blively" with Bill Hader as host "Cliffley."

Schumer's character giggles, flirts, and is inept at sitting in a chair as her legs become more and more shiny and bronzed. She is promoting Baz Luhrmann’s musical remake of Blade Runner and she talks about being a tomboy, baking and liking comic books.

It's all over when she announces her favorite movie is Star Wars. Watch below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNfBbJ0pzbA

edit: Uh, I somehow transposed Amy Schumer with Samantha Bee. People were talking about Schumer in the Louie thread. But enjoy the sketch anyway.
