With the amount of ultra-awesome grandmother characters introduced in the third act, its almost arguable that 65 year old grandmothers are a target demographic of this movie.

It's not automatic, just unfortunately too common. Meet many great oldies who like more, and try more new things then people a quarter their age.

They do admittedly often nap more, but naps are brilliant, and gently caress anyone who says otherwise. :jihad:

For sure. I didn't mean to imply that's what I think about it, if anything it's one of the most thoughtful and sensitive movies made in a long, long time.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen another action movie since Die Hard, except for maybe Casino Royale, where the fights and explosions look like they have consequences. Usually the characters just shrug off bullet wounds, but in Fury Road, everyone actually reacts to all the punches and shots and by the end they all look like they're really struggling to keep fighting and driving. And the feminist politics of it and the discussion of rights to bodily autonomy are great but they don't feel shoehorned in. Pro-choice campaigners often struggle to help men to get their head around the concept of abortion rights and why it's important, and the first five minutes of Fury Road where Max gets muzzled and chained to Nux and used as a meat shield and blood bank while Nux drives him around (in the car he's stolen off him, no less), is such a great and clear analogy for forced pregnancy, but again it's still a great action sequence and it makes sense in the setting.

Never knew Tom Hardy was a ginger also, in other stuff I've seen him in his hair's too short for it to show. I do pretty much the same thing because I'm sort of a brunette but once it gets to a certain length the sun bleaches it to ginger. Still would though, cheers to the scriptwriters for putting in the scene where he wrestles Charlize Theron in a big muddy puddle while the Wives spray them with the hose. :heysexy:

I'm still not sure why the Warboys did that instead of just putting an armband or a tag on him or something, there's a reason you can't give blood for six months after getting tattoos and piercings. They'd better hope he'd had his DTPs at least.
