It's really not hard. Just listen to an episode where all four are on and pay a modicum of attention to their introductions. Ghostbusters II or TMNT II I think are all hands on.

Sometimes I get nostalgic and wonder why NBC stopped airing Saturday morning cartoons. Then I listened to that and remember why.

If you going to do an ad do it right, and this is pretty much the best way. The audience got a book recommendation and audible got its plug.

That only really works for a store with a bit of variety and if the people doing the plug get a choice in what particular items they mention, but for those cases it does actually make for an interesting ad.

Wait theres four of them! Man I must of listened to even episode and I always though there was just three in the crew.

I should probably get my ears checked or something...
....also pretty terrible at names.

getting old :(

Mostly it's just three of them, but sometimes all four of them are there. Usually big episodes, like episode 200 for Red Heat, or Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull (which I think was episode 100, but I'm too lazy to check).

I had no recollection of that show until the episode started. Even then I only barely remembered it existed.

The 80's were an amazing time for cartoons because they were only on Saturday mornings and they'd make a cartoon out of anything.

It's not that crazy that some people don't remember Pro Stars. It's a flash in the pan show on the network with the weakest Saturday line up. Honestly, the only NBC cartoons I remember are Pro Stars and Wish Kid and I'm 31.

I haven't listened to the WHM episode on this yet, but holy poo poo I can't believe I remember this. Like a jolt to the memory.

I love that they got Jordan and Gretsky, arguably the greatest their respective sports ever saw, and with Bo Jackson (who was great, don't get me wrong), mainly because they could get two sports stars for the price of one.

Even if you aren't a child of the 80s/90s, weird cartoon series based on real-life sports figures and musicians kept going well into the 00s. At one point the Backstreet Boys had a cartoon where they were superheroes, Andre 3000 was leading a team of teenagers, and just last year Scooby-Doo teamed up with John Cena.

Wait, the Backstreet Boys really did have a cartoon? I remember the Burger King toys they had of them as heroes but never knew it was based on a real show.
