I work broadcasting horse and dog races civilian-side, and instantly recognized that track; it's Tucson Greyhound Park. They are not always the best to their dogges, sadly; they have gotten much better according to the dudes that have been down there, though. If you're thinking about adopting really wonderful dogges that like to chase everything, find out if there are greyhound adoptions near you. They really need special help after some of the poo poo they deal with, but I've never met one that wasn't super awesome. Here's some dog racing I can always get behind though! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7Gh4ypMH-4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSucGwQJKZg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0hISIpe-L8 Wasabi the J fucked around with this message at 08:23 on Jun 12, 2015 |

Dog racing is really retarded in its current incarnation. And yes hounds are awesome. They go from zero to OUTRUN CAR and back to zero and snoozing in minutes.

This is Diesel, he likes going swimming in the pond not far from our house. Chasing sticks is tiring work, but some dogge has to do it.

Hey all, say hello to Joy! http://imgur.com/a/w4SfK I picked her up this morning at a rescue about 30 minutes away from Bragg following the longest CQ shift of my life. I'm told she showed up at the rescue with a litter of four puppies in April. She was heartworm positive and undergoing the last round of treatment when I met her last week. Joy is a Cardigan Welsh corgi/whippet mix just over a year old with the most beautiful brindle coat.

That's an adorable dog but lol @ "cardigan welsh corgi/whippet mix." I get that it's next to impossible to find an owner for a stray pitbull mutt with heartworms but goddamn, those shelters need to try something believable.

It's dumb but the ladies in my leasing office ate it up and absolutely loved Joy. I honestly don't care too much about the breed, I just wanted to a rescue a chill rear end dogge and that's what I did.

Why do they not just say the breed is unknown due to no history and is a mutt? I mean what are they going to do make you do a DNA test? If you are bored and want to get angry at people who want to kill dogges then there is this http://zombiesanddogs.org/ it made me mad at people but also amused me at how everything was delivered and the hint of hypocrisy.
