Rokitanksy given a clean bill of health and got one of his last vaccines today. he's gained almost a pound in the past two weeks. unfortunately now that he had a vet visit, Lulu is REALLY mad at him because of the scent, so he is going to have to be separated in his own room for a few days because she tried to attack the living hell out of him.

walt's move to nyc has been pushed back a hair; i hosed up a vacation reservation and it got moved later in july, so the soonest would be end july/early august. money looks right for the flight.

my parents keep asking if this is what's best for walt, they're happy to take care of him, they like him so much.

i want my buddy.

i can't remember if i mentioned this, but marlowe had kitty dentisty done a few months ago, had all her teeth removed, and she's a different cat. more chill and playful, less drooling and apparently less pain. the consensus (me, gf, vet) is that this is a net positive for a new friend.

meanwhile, walt is himself

and my dad constructed a barrier to prevent walt from leaping over the fences

so for now, he continues to enjoy the hot summer
