The best songs by AC/DC are the ones about liking rock and being cool.

Live Wire
It's A Long Way To The Top
Rock And Roll Singer

I'm not familiar with the entirety of their stuff though, what are some other songs in the same vein/sound as these?

Ain't No Fun (Waiting Round to be a Millionaire) is a great song in the same vein as Long Way to the Top

After their first two (three if you're Aussie) albums, their style changed from bluesy 50's style rock to more in-your-face hard rock, where it's been ever since.

But if you gotta stick with the oldies, here's a few that were exclusive to Australia until the 80's:

Show Business
Soul Stripper
Baby Please Don't Go

Gig announced for Winnipeg Stadium on September 17th, 2015!

https://www.facebook.com/acdc/posts/10153198638902930

Interestingly, it was announced by itself - no further new gigs yet.

The 2009 Winnipeg show sold 45,000 tickets in 45 minutes. It was easy for me to get them via the fan club then, but since that's not an option now, I'm not taking my Angus suit out of the closet quite yet...

AC/DC is on the shortlist of bands/singers that may be old, might be busted, but if they ever get within an hour's drive I promise myself I'll see them. Hope they swing around my neck of the woods.

I've been surprised by how much of Black Ice I still listen to on occasion-it's guilty of having filler and sounding same-y but it's got a good handful of tracks that I'd include with a generous favorites list: title track, Rock 'n' Roll Train, Big Jack, Smash 'n' Grab, Money Made are all solid and the rest is okay at worst. I really like the slide guitar on Stormy May Day!

The first weekend of Coachella will be streamed live on YouTube. The stream is being sponsored by T-Mobile, so the big name acts are sure to be shown! :)

EDIT - AC/DC goes on at 10:35 PM Pacific/12:35 AM Central/1:35 AM Eastern:

No stream. Not for Drake or Steely Dan either.

The only real "name" act getting streamed is Jack White...you'd think a bloated multinational like T-Mobile would deliver the goods, but noooooo...

Well, a cell phone stream did manage to show up, and that setlist IS the one! Fantastic stuff!

From what I could make out, the show rocked. Ang and Brian were a touch sloppy at times, but the "machine room" in the back was lockstep perfect - Stevie (who really added some juice to the Rock 'n' Roll Train backing vocals) & Slade still have the goods.

For the second weekend at Coachella, The Jack was swapped for High Voltage (the short version). Angus kept his shirt on the whole time!

The band is sounding good, although Chris' hi-hat is way too prominent.

In other news, Phil has pled guilty to cannabis & meth possession, and 1 count of threatening to kill (a second count was dropped).

He gave the failure of his solo album as an excuse...

He'll be sentenced in June.

Seeing them in Jersey was my second AC/DC concert as well. Their setlist seems to be the same for the entire North American tour, so check it out if you want to know what to expect:

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/acdc/2015/metlife-stadium-east-rutherford-nj-2bf7344e.html

Watch for Angus giving the horns at the beginning of Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be, him running his tie up and down the guitar neck on Sin City, and of course, the Let There Be Rock solo.

Have fun!

Even though you know they're almost at the end of the show, there is almost nothing like Let There Be Rock and For Those About to Rock live

Just got back from Toronto. Every muscle in my body aches and I have no voice. It was without question the best show I have ever been to. Last time I saw them was on the Stiff Upper Lip tour, and they were great then, but they were on a whole new level last night. Brian sounded great, the rhythm section was heavy and flawless, and Angus was on loving fire. Set list was awesome, not a single bad choice on there. Some of the most fun I've ever had. Good God I am going to be so sad when these guys retire
