You're full of good ideas. I'll get around to it. Opop gets first dibs.

Tremendous Taste posted:Foxtrot owns and is probably better but there's so much energy in Lamb I really enjoyed Foxtrot. Selling England by the Pound was solid, though I only really truly enjoyed the opening track. When he cries out The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, you can feel his joy and emotion and it's pretty great. I didn't do the rest of the album though. Working on his solo stuff. So far Gabriel Genesis >>>>>>> x1000 over Collins Genesis imo.

Oh and Taste Peter Gabriel is incredibly good. I loved the first half of his first solo album the 2nd half was good but not as good and obviously Solsbury Hill is just a giant of a song. So is the better album and is just incredibly good. That's how you write soulful pop. It's not even a close or fair comparison to compare him with Collins, since the only link they have is having fronted Genesis, but the contrast between them and what they do is pretty shocking. Anyway, thank you for those suggestions.

Does anyone know how to speak Haitian Creole? Seems like a pretty interesting language. Also I love how much Blur's Leisure is inspired by the Stone Roses (There's No Other Way especially) and is just tinged by shoe-gaze. They're a fun band to follow.

I had worked office jobs before and hated them, and working in the field was incredibly liberating. So being back in the office, even for a few weeks, kind of stinks.

You've mentioned that before. I hope you can bear up. My best friend had similar experiences working for a non-profit Anti-Aids organization. She loved going out meeting people and explaining what Aids was about and why condoms were the tops and all that but the bureaucracy and office work drove her away. So now she's unemployed and leaving to Argentina in a few days to see if she can't make a stable relationship with the one guy she passionately fell in love with while over there, despite not liking where she'll have to live nor without knowing what it is she will do. ...I'm kinda bitter about it and incredibly worried because of how horribly wrong it can go but I'm trying to be chipper because either it'll get great and everyone's happy or it'll be so awful and sucky that it'll finally allow her to turn the page that she hasn't allowed herself to do for 3+ years.

Haha, I shouldn't complain too much, but sitting still is very much not my thing and I find it really difficult to not move around a lot and all. I'll be fine, my primary client likes me a lot for no discernable reason and I have steady field work for 9 months of the year. But those 3 months of being in the office feel like 12.
