I don't think this week's car list update was posted in this thread yet: Forza Week 5 Garage Highlights are they're bringing in actual BTCC cars. Aside from that, the only new car I spot on the list at a glance is the '15 Jag XFR-S. e: was the D-90 in FH2, or is that new also? code:

Still no FC RX-7. I'm starting to get worried. For me it was the forza 5 omission i missed the most.

Theres a lot of cars they already had in Forza 4/5 and I wish they would just announce those and get them out of the way.

I dont really understand them adding SUV's and trucks to the game. I certainly like variety, but for every time i play cat and mouse or do a fun goon race with trucks, there are 100 times some idiot in the public hoppers uses a jeep cherokee SRT-8 to ram me.

General Probe posted:Wow they really toned down the rewards this month 600,000 instead of the usual 2.1 mil Actually I thought so too but then I remembered I got rewards at the beginning of july, then I went up a tier and collected rewards again and it just made up the difference. August's rewards aren't available for 6 more days, probably what you experienced as well.

Nah I've been level 7 for several months, and have always been able to claim on the first of the month and never been able to claim the difference in months where I leveled up. It sounds like you're experiencing some sort of bug if you have to wait 6 more days for your rewards. Edit: Scratch that, looks like there's another claim in 6 days? Weird? Also I'm only 600 points away from the next tier, but I don't think I get the Tier 8 Audi unless I'm that tier before I start the game up but idk I'm just guessing. I was weak and bought the Ultimate edition. I have to say though I'm a lot more optimistic for this game than I was for 5. Looks like we might actually get Porsches next year too?

You can't have it all. I think they done good. And holy poo poo I just realized Sonoma is Infineon!!! So happy. Hockenheim is cool too. I didn't like it so much in 4, but I think it will play well in 6, especially with the faster cars we have now that didn't exist in 4.

This is a good post and the info should be in the OP now that it is confirmed. I am sad Suzuka, Tsubka and Maple Valley didn't make the cut, but these new tracks look rad as hell. If some of them are half as fun as I've heard they are, 7 for 3 is a drat good trade.

They should do more of the Australian circuits. I mean Xbox sponsors a v8 supercars team, some are F1 circuits (the Melbourne GP, Eastern Creek [which is also the World Time Attack Venue]) and theres a few gnarly street races in the v8 supercar series that would be pretty fun (similar to Long Beach I suppose) plus we have lots of cool smaller tracks like Wakefield Park which is a popular amateur track (that is also a v8 supercar circuit). I guess due to the positioning of some that they arent really nice spectacles, but they are fun tracks to drive on.

And elevation changes. While not drastic, they are there and make for a very dynamic lap. Every corner is unique and engaging in its own way.

GutBomb posted:It's got a lot of different types of corners. Ultra challenging to master. It's this combined with it being a 'classic'-stye track. Most older tracks like Brands Hatch are much faster and are more about flow and momentum, while most newer tracks are a lot slower and more about technicality and do not flow well. Brands Hatch is a blast and will probably trip less-experienced players up a lot. It and The Glen are the best track additions to this game, though it's nice to see Monza and Lime Rock, and Sonoma coming back also rocks.
