I think part of the problem is that they regard lust as a sin. And popping a boner is obviously a sign of lust, and therefore a sin, instead of being a normal physical thing that happens to dudes all the time. Using masturbation to get rid of the boner is again a big sin. The only non-sin way to deal with a boner is to gently caress your wife. A woman who dresses in a way that 'makes' your dick move when you ogle her is obviously leading you into sin. So every teenage boy is neck deep in sin by default. If you fail to prevent boners (and you will, obviously) then you are just as much a sexual sinner as any adulterer, rapist or child molester. Looking at porn is just as bad as cheating on your wife or molesting your sister.

The whole problem probably could have been avoided with a designated wank closet stocked with tissues and some old sears catalogs.
