Pax ate something he should not have, so I was driving him ASAP to the emergency vet last night. There was a big storm and a tree fell across the road while we were driving, which took off about a quarter of the front of my car. I drove the rest of the way to the vet with about 3/4 of a car to be told that they were full, and that I needed to get him to the nearest pet ER about a half hour away. So, we drove to the next vet through a flood, downed lights and trees, with a totaled car. Pax is okay, and I am still picking tiny pieces of windshield glass out of my hair

The culprit: my mom was visiting for the weekend, and she had left a shaving razor in the bathroom. Pax delicately chewed off the plastic part and swallowed the metal razor part whole.

 Middle of the road? Yeah this is a good spot to cool my nuts off. I was practically leash dragging him across tile, he was docile as gently caress. It's not hot but was a long walk.

Just went for a nice late run on the beach into the sunset all romantic light. No leash, phone, or shoes just silkies/shirt and pup. Bliss. Warm beach shower and off to home
