I think they have the benefit of being close (but not entirely) to a generic trademark (e.g. "xerox this paper"). I didn't even consider other moving truck companies until I had to. I also get the impression they are a very right-leaning owned company, which has a tiny but noticeable effect when things Go Wrong.

Unless they don't have the 10' truck I'm renting in stock (and the only available pickup time for tomorrow was 7:45 AM so I don't know how they'd run out by then + they confirmed the order accurately via email) I don't think there's anything they can screw up. I also went for the full accidental damage insurance if I flip it or something. I just want this to be done, and I know once I do get moved in I still have to set up comcast service since the building supports nothing else  I'm looking forward to getting Withnail and I levels of drunk next weekend, at least

At 7am I was woken up by my phone ringing. A woman starts talking very fast in Korean. I'm groggy and very confused so I just say what a bunch of times then hang up. She calls back and this time I notice phone saying the phone number is from South Korea. Still having no idea what to say, I just say no repeatedly. I briefly considered trying to open Google's translate app so I could tell her she very much has the wrong number, but had no way to communicate that to her. She eventually hung up. I went back to sleep. When I woke up I checked my phone to make sure it wasn't a dream and yep, it's right there in the call log.

Our phone numbers aren't even formatted the same way or have the same amount t of numbers, so I'm assuming she was trying to call someone she knew in North America but dialed it wrong twice.

My entire move was like $90 through Uhaul, plus drinks or dinner or something for a friend who helped me out for the first hour. He had to go teach music lessons after that though, so it's kinda cool knowing everything I own I've moved around today (except for some cleaning supplies I left at the old apartment to give it a once-over later tonight or after work tomorrow). Hi mafia thread! I've missed you! I stopped reading for a long time because I traveled the nation over the summer and then when I got back home I went right back to work. This year's crop of eighth graders has been trying, but I think I'm finally starting to form a rapport with them - it just usually comes faster. What have I missed in 6000+ posts? Who lived? Who died? Who came back and who poo poo off forever? I hope you didn't miss me. I am easy to follow on Facebook or via my Youtube podcast or I guess in person if you were especially stealthy and bored. I have a new-ish game idea I want to run when I die in the game Met is running. Also thank you for birthday wishes on pg 106. <3
