The EXALT assault force swept in quickly, as XCOM knew it would. Central was able to block them from overrunning the base instantly with a variety of complex jamming techniques and the bravery of the soldiers who were roused from their bunks in the dead of night. But they wouldn't be able to hold out for long. Would XCOM be able to hold back the unrelenting tide of EXALT? Or would EXALT overwhelm XCOM and end Earth's UFO Defense program as we know it? It is now Day 1.
