first ep was pretty good. im hoping the whole voice over narration thing was just to get all the backstory taken care of, though.

I've been pretty busy this week but for a little while I've had this game stuck in my head so I finally just sat down and got the basis done tonight.

Wild West Mafia is now open guys. I really like the setup I have so far!

ok I just finished rereading those two games I linked and also Red Storm which was just absolutely a delight.

- Charlottesville taught me that sometimes it's ok to be town and vote out someone you know is town.
- Civil War taught me that if you make someone third party lyncher don't make their targets mod-confirmed town.
- Red Storm taught me that persistence is a virtue and a little bit of patience goes a long way. :patriot:

Ok ok ok. My business time has ended (for the time being). Replace me into your game. The first person to send me a role PM gets my replacement.

edit: Are there really only two games running?

Grondemar also ran a WW2 mafia that was pretty interesting. A LONG TIME AGO I thought about creating a historical fiction setting for a series of games based on that game's outcome.

I feel like if reading other games and posting learning summaries was something we all did on a regular basis we'd all improve individually by leaps and bounds!

If we get approval, I'm happy to run something. Maybe "MOBA: League of Defense of the Heroes of the Legends Ancients Storm" with LoL heroes as scum, DotA heroes as Town, and a HotS SK.

It looks like Highwire's 28 person game had some lurking problems. I'm creating a 17 player setup. Is anyone available to glance at a setup to give some thoughts as to whether it is newbie friendly?

[Mafia] The MOBA Imbalance: A Mafia Game for New Players is now taking sign ups.

If we can't get enough GBS people in there, we can add some veterans.

As someone who used to frequent GBS, I think you'd have better luck posting it in FYAD.

Oi vei. Games won't take it, either, because Kewpuh doesn't want to deal with the reports that will come with it. That sux. I wonder if the method to get people to join is to make a recruitment thread in GBS that links to a thread in here and we post in it so it gets visibility?
