It's no mystery why the entire family is pissed at Josh. Sure, molesting his sisters and their friend was traumatic, but through God's grace the Duggar girls will forgive him. Sure, living a life of moral superiority only to fall as a hypocrite is a stepping stone to higher piety and wisdom. But Josh is now hurting the bottom line and that is unforgivable.

The personal actions of an artist does not invalidate the worth of their creations. I would enjoy maybe five things if I held to my personal politics when consuming media. Especially with TV and film, where cast and crew can exceed hundreds, by sheer odds there's bound to be rapists, murderers, pedophiles, racists and more that contributed directly to a work, not to mention the usually exploitative business practices of the industries and those of the equipment they use and so on. I can hate a man perfectly well while enjoying his face-melting guitar solos.
