That Mentalist switch reminded me a lot of Conan's old Walker Texas Ranger lever, and he totally killed it with the monologue, so I'm very okay with this show so far  Hope he's able to keep it up. It does seem like more of the Colbert Report minus the political character.

Really hope colbert is allowed to push boundaries. A soft, safe comedy vehicle to push lovely movies or whatever celebrities want to plus would be the worst.

He did Talking Mentalist Repeats intro gags for a while.
