Check out Jon Hopkins if you haven't already. 'Immunity' is the album to start with.

If you like that, you'll probably like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNbqN9TbdnE

They both get played to similar effect at Sub Club and elsewhere by all the good Scottish lads

e: everyone needs to listen to this Olof Dreijer (ex-The Knife) tune if they haven't yet. Ben UFO plays it constantly, heard Midland rinse it out at Movement this year, etc etc

Never heard of Hoodboi or Lido before, but loving Palm Reader. Seconding the request because I am totally ready for a new sound like this :D

fyi, lido and trippy turtle are the same person.

this is a good start, but you should go deeper into the moving castle collective:
https://soundcloud.com/movingcastle

tons of good free music right up your alley

check out flirtini, he's running a cool label that blends the line between tropical house, bass music and jersey club-ish poo poo. the heartbreak and promises albums he has out are really good imo:
https://soundcloud.com/flirtini/sets/heartbreaks-promises
https://soundcloud.com/flirtini/sets/heartbreaks-promises-vol-2

individual artists wise, check out 813:
https://soundcloud.com/813/813-glitter-sand

yung wall street:
https://soundcloud.com/yungwallstreet/tove-lo-talking-body-yung-wall-street-flip

mura masa:

https://soundcloud.com/kailomusic/need-ya-feat-aela-kae

pusher:
https://soundcloud.com/beat-pusher/jack-u-feat-kiesza-take-u-there-pusher-flip-1

dj slow runs pelican fly which is a fun label, and he puts out really good mixes filled with music you would probably like:
https://soundcloud.com/pelicanfly/dj-slow-as-the-world-turns-slow-chapter-1

if you ever want to dig into some real jersey club, start heading down the direction of nadus, Dj Sliink (the sliink remix of the nadus song i posted is loving bonkers, highly recommend taking a listen), Dj R3ll, UNIIQU3. UNIIQU3 and r3ll are good because they have an approachable sound but both still have good connections to brick bandits and the like.

Disclosure album just leaked. Aside from the already released singles the rest of this album is just pure pop and I love it. They know their wheel house so just expect 14 songs that all sound similar.

e; Highlights for me, "Nocturnal", "Superego", "Willing & Able"

Honestly for a second album I think they did a great job, but I will definitely be wanting to hear a newer sound in their next album. This album does exactly what it needs to do (cement the "disclosure sound" for the listener) and they do it really well.

I like the Disclosure album quite a bit, but it definitely doesn't match the pure house/garage magic that the first album was for me. January is one of the best songs in the history of ever.

But I am digging Nocturnal, Superego, Holding On, Willing & Able... ok there are a lot of good songs.

Young Galaxy aren't really an electro band, but every now and then they swing in that direction and what they come up with is always amazing. Here is an example that you should all listen to:

Saw Disclosure last night in a packed warehouse and it was a loving blast. They played pretty much every song I could have wanted to hear, and even brought out special guests Lion Babe and Brendan Reilly for Hourglass and Moving Mountains respectively.

I'd encourage anyone who's even a casual fan of theirs to go see them if you have the chance to.

I just bought tickets to see Eric Prydz Epic 4.0 in San Francisco and could not be more excited. From the couple of videos I have seen of Epic 3.0 last year, it looks like it is going to be an amazing journey. I know there are a few people here from the bay, anyone else planning on going?

I went to 2 at Palladium in LA and 3 and I can assure you you're in for the experience of a lifetime. The production value makes everyone else in the game look like amateurs. There is absolutely nobody else putting on shows approaching this. Enjoy!
