4-5 hawks players have been out on the ground for half an hour already. That's a long warm up. First time at the G. It's definitely big.

Chris Isaak rules, but how come the performers aren't all playing one after the other this year?

Something weird is going on with the backing track for Chris there. SeekOtherCandidate posted:how in god's name is that "downhill" You got a problem with the greatest rock star in all history mate? Or is it that the Saints might get a funky tune?

Drew Chip Frawley in a first goal sweep

EDIT: Eh, you never know, Frawley might get thrown up front early just to scuttle everyone's plans. Just a heads up that it actually is on HD on 7Mate. Which is great, because I bought the current TV on the day of the 2010 GF replay which was when Ten couldn't broadcast it in hi-def because the cameras were up at Bathurst or some bullshit reason.

It must be so hard to pick acts for the GF. It's so hard to fit the AFL 'vibe' while also appealing to a wide ranging audience.

Who cares. Better it sounds half decent I reckon, a giant empty space with the crowd 100m away seems like the shittest and least intimate gig you could possibly play.
