I only remembered yesterday after I stood there waiting for a bag only to be told it would be an extra 5p. This is going to be a pain in the arse. Who carries round 5p's and I'm not breaking into a quid for a bag. I'll learn how to juggle instead.

5p bag tax has been going in Northern Ireland for the best part of a decade. people learn to carry around reusable bags and life goes on was the introduction well publicised in England? because that was something that Northern Ireland did well and people were prepared for it. Scotland didn't do it so well and I saw a lot of anger in supermarkets when it was introduced there not so long ago
