Yeah it is, and to be fair I completely had $80 set aside to blow on this trip but apparently all of my coworkers aside from one were nerds and didn't want to go. And it's slightly aggravating that I had $23 from last night and somehow was $8.50 up on top of that tonight and was stupid enough not to walk away.

I just don't understand why. We're not gibbis, or 4chan, or even gaming or diy where you could lie about past experiences to gain internet respek. We generally have a smaller circle than those forums, and post about current projects, not past conquests. Also, we're all assholes, so pretending to be hurt has a 50/50 sympathy/schadenfreude response, unlike the 100% sympathy response of somewhere like PI.

I raced CX tonight. Course got progressively wetter and slippery and there were quite a few crashes. Okay so the past three days I've been addicted to Wheeler Dealers. I can say that I love the show, even though I had seen it before on TV. Why do I love the show?
