Yeah, I think I first heard of them a few years ago in an Anthropology course at my first college. Even just the general description (family of ultraconservatives that see it as their God-given mission to have as many kids as possible) set off some serious alarm bells in my head at the time. Seeing those concerns pan out like this is some vicious schadenfreude, to put it mildly.
