The lead in shows to the debate last night were especially god awful. Like real bush league. CNN's build up and intro were equally horrible. "Self Proclaimed Socialist, Bernie Sanders!" I sent an email to the ex-Cleveland Browns player, now current right wing talk show host in regards to a few of his comments. (one was his comment implying how transgender people are trying to infilitrate bathrooms, the other is below) He had a caller on that was literally talking about how bad the country is and how many people are unemployed because of Obama. Then said caller literally said "You know...I've tried to hire a few people for my company. But they don't know anything about what we do so I've fired them within a few days. No one has any experience! I don't have time or money to train anyone!" The host nodded in agreement and then continued on. As someone who's been fed a similiar line of horse poo poo along with several friends who are willing to work hard doing whatever? I'm a tad bit stunned that people even remotely have this attitude. I wonder how the hell these people got in the place they are today because it sure as hell wasn't just like they knew everything within a single day. But I was kind within my email and I told him my own personal experiences in regards to this. I also sugguested he try to have an LGBT rights guest from Kent State in order to gain some perspective on transgender and gay issues rather than to just remain in his right wing echo chamber.
