Oh man, this is a honeypot. Well it's never been released on home media or streaming in any way, so I got it from a torrent (trap sprung!)

I'd buy the blu ray or even a dvd of it in a heartbeat if it existed, because it was so goddamn awesome.

I found some on Youtube but they are pretty poo poo quality. Comcast gives me issues with running torrents. I wish I could buy the series on DVD too. It's like it just evaporated. I'd love a soundtrack as well.

Yeah, but we'd have bomb rear end signatures with quotes from our favorite songs and spend a fuckton of time discussing who is industrial and who is not.

Kinda NIN related but Deerhunter dropped a new album.

Also does anybody know what happened to the new Saul Williams' album? It was suppose to launch in September but I haven't heard a single word about it since the announcement.

He's said exactly jack poo poo about it since the tour ended over a year ago :( I hope it's still coming one of these days, but it seems weird to release a Blu-Ray/DVD of the Tension lineup when that was already 2 years ago.

I completely sympathize with this aspect of Trent. He's lazy/would always rather be doing something new than finishing a project he started.

Honestly if it was just him involved I bet you this poo poo would be released.

As someone who does creative work for a living, I can put out a million of my own projects no matter how much I don't want to do them. But when other people are involved, poo poo just takes a thousand times longer.

I still have my vinyl copy of Hesitation Marks that I've never listened to properly because the turntable I had around the time it came out was decades old and kicked the bucket right in time for that album to get delivered to me.

uh the dude has made 8 studio albums, several soundtracks, done massive world tours several times, I don't think he's even remotely "lazy" or has trouble finishing projects considering the massive amount of work involved in all of that. if something is not being released it's probably more to do with some bureaucratic or logistical problem.

although with the Fragile re-release in particular it could also be that it's simply a period in his life that he's very reluctant to revisit with any intensity, which is pretty understantable.

Yeah I know that. I'm saying I bet because of that I think he was able to get the instrumentals out thanks to now working for apple and they probably helped with that.

He was one of the top people working on Apple Music. He released that instrumental stuff in a effort to show off Connect, the social feature of the service. It's too bad more artists aren't following his lead, or people might actually use Connect.

Rageaholic

He should release his entire backlog of projects on Connect to remind people that the service still exists, because I'm sure most people don't remember anyway and we'd get a bunch of new (old) material out of it.

It was really a poor way to show off Connect, considering since it's not technically listed on the store so my phone refuses to download it for offline listening.

You can download it if you add it to your library, I think.

Yep. Add it to your library, and then you will have the option to make available for offline use. I just did, so I can confirm it works. You probably have to have an Apple Music subscription though.

Same with iTunes. If it's in your Apple Music library, you can download it to your computer.

Yeah, when I do that and then tap "Make Available for Offline" the tracks just sit in a queue and never download and it's persisted across multiple restores. I can listen to them just fine, but it would never actually download. That'd suck if it was somehow only happening to me, or perhaps it was an issue that's been fixed now. I'll try when I get home tonight.

I always assumed it was an issue because the tracks themselves aren't associated with an album or available anywhere on Apple Music or the store aside from those playlists which you can only see from the Nine Inch Nails Connect thingy.

I have the fragile and with teeth instrumentals saved to my phone for offline use as well. The only problems I have are when I connect my phone on the car and then it has a little freak out when I try to play it but other than that its fine.

Sometimes, you have to select "make available for offline" on each individual track instead of by album. I have had issues with that in the past.
