In addition, without any real checks or balances on Chris Robert's vision, the scope appears to be like a gas in a vacuum, trying to fill all the available space. If your ideas man is the guy in charge of everything, you have real problems in almost any major project with respect to time, budget and quality. Vision remains top notch though!

If I seem completely cynical, it's that I've seen this dance before, except now it's mixed with some incredibly blatant cash grabs with the ship sales. We are not even buying artwork now?

Alpha probably won't hit until next year, but the Dogfighting Module is slated for November and it should give players a chance to actually fly around in their hard earned spaceboats so watch out for that.
