LinkedIn has been just fine for job hunting. It's creepy how spot on it is with suggesting connections with people I haven't spoken with in years, especially army guys, but I just ignore those. So far it hooked me up with two headhunters in my field and brought a bunch of interesting leads in. What really helped was taking the time to really set up my profile and add tags- makes you pop up in searches to the right cold callers.

Yeah but I'm a lazy piece of poo poo who's been sucking off the government teet since I got out. Well, more like I worked construction until I started getting disability checks. I don't think anyone would want to hire me right now since my work experience is INFANTRY HOOAH and some minimum wage poo poo jobs. Getting back to school in January though to get off my rear end and get a real job. Sitting around with nothing to do has made me stir crazy, but it is awesome that me and the girlfriend literally can sit on our rear end and still make good money because the green weenie physically hosed us up so bad. I definitely can't go back into construction, my spine is so hosed up I'd just kill myself doing it.
