Those are the ones that get me. It's one thing to look at something and go "Hey this might be a really good game" or whatever.

But it's a completely unbearable level of hype to say "This is going to save gaming."

Save it from what, exactly?

Given that the recent UI changes appear to be going the direction of simulation fidelity ~ think DCS ~ I have trouble understanding how it's going to fit into the 'game' portion. Their fundamental problem still is that they have a list of promises and no overarching plan other than what Croberts decides the flavor d'jour.

Also I can clip out of the back of my pilots head with TrackIR. PC GAMING IS SAVED.

If you're curious, I can answer this from the perspective of someone who is a supported, but got concerned after Derek's reveals in July, but still is hopeful.

It boggles the mind. Honestly though I don't understand how people say that with any game, let alone SC.

You know how in DCS you can skip the long startup sequence by pressing windows+home? I bet croberts would nix that and I bet poll results on the brown sea would be in favor of no shortcut in the neighborhood of 80%.

Also, PCMR nerds are the worst nerds in the world.

It's about 50/50, really. The fact that we all know croberts needs to continue raising tens of millions of dollars from new pledges in order to deliver on the 64 million dollars worth of stretch goal promises he already made is extremely Ponziish.

Not that I think croberts intentionally set out to Ponzi people. It just seems to have been an unintended result caused by his incompetence and stupidity.

I saved PC Gaming once. AMA.

Basically, I don't like to talk about it since I don't like referring to myself as a hero. But essentially I was walking down the street, and old PC gaming was trying to cross it. A truck with the words, DLC, painted on the side almost ran over it, but I pushed PC gaming away (getting hit by the truck itself). That would've been the end of it, but unfortunately a Pay 2 Win was coming from the other direction; so I got up and used the last bit of my disposable income (dont worry I made it all back in the grey market) to push PC gaming to safety.

PC Gaming said thank you and rewarded me by letting me buy into beta-testing and play its games before they are released, polished, completed, or any good.
