Does a bear split in the woods near Zheleznogorsk?

The Jurassic Park box set (including the new one) is like $55 at walmart. Also, Fury Road, Avengers etc, Interstellar (and The Martian when it's out).

drove around all afternoon (ok like an hour) looking for a copy of Star Trek TMP because I'm tired of it not always being free on prime or netflix and i failed in my mission.

I'm a Star Trek nerd and even I don't like that one. 45 minutes lighter it'd be fine. It's also $15 on Amazon (or buy the big box set with all of them).

Edit: VV That also belongs on the list.

Twilight Zone series set is amazingly sharp, they look like they were filmed yesterday in black and white. A few at the end were transferred from tape rather than film and it shows.

godfather 1 and 2 are very good

hell, they recut the trilogy as one whole movie, called the Godfather Saga that was actually pretty cool

also pulp fiction is pretty much require viewing

pulp fiction is really fantastic

nerds love to tear it down because hating popular poo poo gives them cred but it's one of the few films i've seen that really lived up to its hype

part 2 is one of the best movies ever made and is one of the few trilogy films to break the stigma with the second being better than the first (Empire Strikes Back is the only other one I can think of off-hand)

but yeah lol at part 3....it's not BAD as a movie on its own, as the story is kind of interesting (especially all the Papal stuff) and Pacino turns in a very good performance. But compared to the first two it just pales in comparison.

and yeah holly bloops you need to watch Pulp Fiction. There's a reason it's got the rep it does. As far as I'm concerned it and Reservoir Dogs are the only two Tarantino films that are required viewing, which is not to say that everything else is bad...just that those two rise head and shoulders above the rest.

Everyone else already jumped on the really good ones.

Make sure you go for the extended edition for the LOTR trilogy, as a cruel test of endurance.

Escape From New York. Doomsday. Children of Men. Gladiator. The first Matrix.

Oblivion looks amazing on blu-ray. Edge of Tomorrow, too. Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but he's been pretty solid on sci-fi the last few years.

The complete Star Wars collection looks nice, but it has some great extras. Lots of deleted scenes I hadn't come across before.
