Also I asked my wife to make mac and cheese tonight in honor of this thread. It was very delicious. I feel like I'm really at a macaroni grill Is there actually macaroni served at the macaroni grill? Asking for a friend.

idk what a guy priori is? I cheat with the gnocchi because I don't make it myself. Dice a red onion and half a pumpkin, bake for 25 minutes with some chopped or ground sage. Cook the gnocchi, should take about a minute. Add 1/4 cup cream and the gnocchi to the pumpkin tray. If you want to add more sage you can, crack some black pepper over it. Add 1/4 cup cheese and bake for a few minutes so the cheese melts. If I wanted to be fancy I'd probably add some pancetta in somewhere and use a blue cheese at the end.

My great grandmother made home-made Gnocci and could speak Italian. Apparently it was pretty frequent when my mom was a kid, but by the end of her life it was infrequent. My mom herself makes some pretty great multi-cheese mac and cheese though. I think the first time she made she just took all the cheese in the fridge and put it on macaroni. Good times.
