also im tasting the damson gin to see how much longer it needs i've got six jars so by the time i reach the sixth i've forgotten how it compares to the first and then i try the first again and it's like "thish ish MUCH better than the SHIXTH" and it all goes round again free samples to goons who can prove they've stairs'd pedricko at a christmas market

I had some damson vodka once that had aged to the point of being alcoholic syrup. Was great, unlike American beers, which are awful.

Best thing you can say for American beer is it's good for drinking with dinner. Since it tastes like water with a tiny bit of taste it doesn't overwhelm your palate and you can taste your food. Does any one else only drink those massive 660ml beers, their the only ones I buy nowadays and they make me look like a greedy gently caress when I'm sat next to someone who has a normal sized beer.

if you butterfly a chicken you can roast it in 40 minutes, that is enough time to do veggies etc too bit late to start a traditional beef joint for def I had haddock and it was tasty

beef top side and pork loin can both be roasted in under an hour but you're never getting it on the table that fast since you need to do all the veg + cook it and rest the meat
