Gibbs never let's down, he is so consistent. "Packages" live was slightly different and sounded much better, tho.

Extradite is one of the best songs of the year. I haven't listened to ESGN but this is easily my favorite Gibbs release.

why don't you like it? I think its a pretty chill song

It's probably my aoty too tbh, just some of the songs kinda blend together in the second half.

ESGN was so one note by Gibbs' standards. Cannot get behind this.

I actually think Extradite/Packages are weak links on the album as far as cohesiveness goes. I both like them a lot individually as songs, but Extradite sounds like it belongs on Pinata and Packages sounds like it belongs on ESGN. They both feel sort of out of place.

extradite, package and basketballs are the biggest fuckin stinkers on that album, which is otherwise pretty decent. but not as cohesive or hard as esgn. careless is great though.

pretty hard to stack up against an album with: the real g money, doa (even with big kill), lay it down, eastside moonwalker, 9mm

Insecurities and Freddie Gordy are kind of scarily personal, especially for a rapper who stops after one of his tracks to tell the crowd how he's getting scary flashbacks from his past while rapping a song.

Freddie Gordy is honestly one of my five favorite GIbbs songs of all time I think

quote:

Plus I got addictions of my own, boy
The pills and the laced blunts got me gone, boy
The Oxycontin and heavy syrup got me looking in the mirror saying,
“Is you a dope fiend or a dope boy?”
Smoking on some poo poo that I can’t pass to a nigga
Eyes shiny than a bitch, glass to a nigga
Down to kick in the door, .44 Mags to a nigga
Got some habits I pray that I never pass to a nigga

Yes, the combination of the nostalgia of Biggie and the bravado and presence of Pusha makes for an amazing track. People also are very hungry for his music to come out so any drops from here till his official second album are going to be VERY well received.

He's got a good shot for AOTY in two separate concurrent years if his releases hit hard enough
