Talking about goon face blindness, I always thought that the Starship Troopers guy who gets a knife thrown into his hand was the same actor as the caveman fighter pilot from Battlefield Earth. But according to IMDB Barry Pepper and Jake Busey are two separate poo poo actors.

The perfect scene would've been Maniac boasting about being able to, but Rosie teases him about being a terrible pilot and such. Maniac, now in doubt of his abilities, looks over yonder and spots none other than Chairman who says a few things to him "I only fly with the best pilots!" and gives him the encouraging thumbs up. A now revitalized Maniac dives into the landing strip and attempts the maneuver only to gently caress up, crash and explode. No one cares or even tries to help out the now-dead pilot. The 'dozer is sent, and another craft is claimed by the deep black sea. Roll credits.
