Alright, I just bought Pike and Shot: Campaigns. It's late medieval to pre-Napoleon, right? So the best strategy is to form cavalry wedges when ahead in numbers and have a weak center with deep reserves on defense to absorb and surround the cavalry wedge?

You should still get as much as the DLC as you can, IMO. You can skip the music and unit packs obviously. Don't forget to check Nuuvem because for some reason that site always has Paradox stuff half off in Portuguese sausage dollars.
