Ugandan action movies (which are made almost exclusively by one team) are seriously cool for having a working budget of loving nothing. There was a filmmaker that sold everything he had and moved there to help them out. I forget his name but he's a neat dude.

No one uses porn mags anymore. The days of woods porn and being friends with that one annoying kid because he knows where his dad keeps his Penthouses is over.

Unironically Playboy has really well done articles and has for several years now, same kind of bend as Vice but better written IMHO. Who even gives a poo poo about what is basically softcore porn.

Playboy was more artsy IMO. Nice to look at because women weren't spreading their gash or taking 8 inches of pipe. I wouldn't say art because it was clearly erotica, but it was aesthetic.

Yes, but again, the Internet has you covered no matter what you want to see. The competition's less stiff when it comes to writing extensive interest pieces.

He's saying the dominoes and so forth were composited into an actual video recorded by a guy walking around the house. There's absolutely no reason to CGI literally every element of a video like that. Also have camera work is frequently used purely as a stylistic choice, or to make it harder to zero in on unconvincing bits of CG. Blue Footed Booby has a new favorite as of 03:56 on Jan 13, 2016 |

I get that people often use handheld etc to disguise CGI, I meant stuff like "let me stop focusing on the action and instead point at a wall for a full second to disguise a still visible cut" that they did pretty frequently. I just can't believe that it would be less effort or time consuming to render a rube goldberg machine instead of setting up a bunch of ~30 second segments and then editing them together (and using a little CG to work the transitions a bit).
