The first one had some cool astronaut style white ones and doom guy green ones, mass effect 2 had more scratchy battle damaged ones, I remember the blue suns armour was awesome.

that armour isn't going to immersive unless there's an unskippable 30 minute animation of you putting it on with the help of a crewman paid 10 cents per hour to play a repetitive "squire" minigame E: I don't even understand how it's possible to mess up space armour, it's just regular medieval armour with LEDs or logos on it most of the time

This is the pass/fail test. Everything rest on that 400+page script.

The 14 day thing is a legal requirement and you have to publish it on your website in the EU. Giving everyone 14 days means they can say they are doing it out of goodwill which sounds better and keeps the donation/gift myth alive.
