Wasn't the second assassin that Dread Pirate Roberts hired actually the same guy that he had hired the first assassin to kill? Like first time around the cops convinced the prospective victim to turn informant and fake his death, then the victim made a new identity and went back to hanging out in the same online drugs community so he could gather evidence, and when DPR announced that he needed yet another guy killed his previous target applied for the job and got hired.

Also IIRC one of DPRs "hitmen" proved he'd finished the job by sending DPR a picture of the crime scene that the victim himself had staged. He took a selfie pretending to be dead using ketchup as fake blood.

Oh, and be careful of randomly googling what stores accept bitcoin. Amazon is on some lists, but of course Amazon does not accept bitcoin at all. There is a middleman company that will sell you gift cards for Amazon and a bunch of other stores for bitcoins. To bitcoiners this means "Amazon accepts Bitcoin!" rather than "Amazon accepts Amazon gift cards!"

A long, long time ago I wanted to buy/mine/eat just one bitcoin. On the one hand, I kinda regret it because hey it would have been neat. On the other hand, the world I would be entering with that single bit coin would have opened a :can: that would have completely ruined me/driven me insane. So......not so neat.

At least in 2009/2010 the underlying network was working, it was just bitcoiners themselves that we were laughing at. Now their broken brains have broken the actual network they have invested in and the whole house of cards is in danger of tumbling down.

Great moments in bitcoin #11) The time that bitcoin phone app that generated you a private address actually gave everyone the same address because it was asking for a random number from some random number website which had changed to only allow https access, so if you accessed it over http you got like a 404 error, and the app went "ok cool the random number is 404" and turned it into the same address for everyone. People were posting "help, the butts disappeared from my wallet" for a while before someone worked it out.

Guys guys he's not a black man THUG he's just a businessman that did nothing wrong. You don't prosecute the owner of Ebay if someone sells stuff on his site do you?

There was even someone talking about how gosh darn it he just got caught up in roleplaying a drug dealer. He didn't mean any real harm when he was ordering people murdered while asking for photo proof.
