It's the night they've all been waiting for. Finally, recognition from not only their peers and the industry, but from the millions watching at home. This was their moment in the limelight, to have the whole world watching them. All they had to do was win an award. A favourite to win tonight, Robin Romaine sat on the edge of her seat as the category she was nominated for was announced. She saw her face come on the screen as the announcer read her name. As they opened the envelope she could barely breathe, and when they said her name, the cacophany of sound as everyone celebrated was replaced by a dull ringing in her ears. As she walked to the stage she thought "This is it, everything I've worked towards and all that I've had to do to get here. This is my moment."

Welcome to Awards Show Mafia, a game for 11 players.

This is a semi-open setup. There will be two scum and they will BOTH have a nightkill. When one scum dies they take their NK with them so you'll only have to contend with one.

All other aspects of the setup (power roles, if there's a 3P, etc) are unknown.

Flavour has nothing to do with alignment and will be RNG'd after you all choose your characters via their outfits.

Standard Mafia Rules

This is a fast paced game. Days will be 24-48 hours, Nights will be 12-24 hours. (Weekends count as 24 hours)
Lynch will be majority (days can end in a nolynch)
Thread will be closed at night
No fake day actions
No posting after hammer
No posting mod PMs
No editing posts
No outside communication unless your role says you're allowed
Don't lurk! People get one prod then a modkill. If you want a replacement please tell me before the beginning of D2. After that I modkill.
Once the game starts I won't answer any questions in thread. PM me if you have questions.

Robin takes the trophy from the announcer and steps up to the microphone with tears in her eyes.

"Wow, I don't know what to say. I want to thank all the talented other nominees. This is as much your award as it is mine. I want to thank my family and friends, I couldn't have done this without them. My costars really allowed me to shine, and for that I'm grateful, but the person I have to thank most of all for getting me here is our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. There's nobody else to thank but Him. Thank you all!"

Robin steps back from the microphone as the music swells. Many clap, although there are quite a few who sit in silence in the crowd. Then, before she can be escorted off the stage, Robin falls to the floor. Her elegant gown pools around her. The announcer bends down to check on her as the audience rises to their feet.

"OH MY GOD SHE'S DEAD!" she screams.

Who could have done this? Who would have anything against dear, sweet, innocent Robin.

Robin Romaine, award winning actress, Town-aligned plot device died N0.
