they'll be fine assuming cronk and thurston stay injury free

Thinking

Morgan and probably still even DCE would have been ahead of both of them anyway. I'd like to see DCE have a go in origin alongside Cronk, he's only really had a chance in the halves with JT who he obviously doesn't gel with

Adam is a wonderful example of how a player should go about his business in the NRL
I would have thought Hunt and Milford were ready to leapfrog DCE in the event of someone in the halves getting hurt. I wouldn't have had a problem with Napa getting a call up last year either.

Meanwhile, Daley refuses to rule out Pearce. Whatever photos his dad has of 80s Origin bonding sessions must be seriously hosed up.

Thinking
Jan 22, 2009

Napa probably would have gotten into the team because we lack the crazy-eyed niggle merchant that we've traditionally had for the last decade; Hodgo has gone now and nobody has really filled the void that mad bastards like Carl Webb and Mick Crocker and Tallis left. We're at risk of being out-crazy-bastarded by the blues now they have Ku Klux Klemmer

Myles is still good for a bit of a casual gee-up tho

Anasta gave him the kiss of death when he annointed him future captain a few days ago.

So Roosters have now lost RTS, Jennings, Maloney, Pearce, Cordner from end of last year to R1 this year.

Leeds also not having Sinfield hurt them bad: Hardaker missed two kicks that would've won them the game.

A little late on this but I have a feeling 'missed kicks losing us games' is going to be a recurring theme this year.

Wigan Catalans is 9mins in, Wign had most of the ball so far and the pitch is a mud bath. Matty Smith just kicked a 40-20.

Gigot at fullback and Escare not playing which is a bit of a suprise, Gigot was very good last season and Escare fairly ordinary so I guess its fair.

Starting to wish I missed the tigers game.

Although all the old blokes at the pub here in Willoughby are reminiscing with me about the Bears so I guess that's pretty fun.

Some of the tries have been pretty impressive.

And some of the play has been too embarrassing to put in words.

Also, how ugly is the manly Jersey. Maybe design it so you can see the picture you put on it.

Yep, but there's nobody else in the game you'd rather have the ball in their hands in that situation than Johnson. We got boned with that disallowed try early on too, they call that pass forward and let so many ridiculous ones go all weekend?
