SELL those, probably for a premium so the idea will be, the Bio Domes in the Endeavour are sort of growing things that you couldn't normally necessarily grow on a planet, and you can maybe sell for a premium, whatever it would be, ah, I'm sure lotsa people will go "SPACE WEED!" but um, you know there'll be plenty of other things too, ahaha, um, so... you know it's, it's ah, it's a sort of farming mechanic, so you'd have that in, ah, you know you'd have that in space, you'd maintain it like perhaps you know, you have to take the... your ship would have to be a certain distance from the local system STAR or, you know you'd have to tend, fend for it make sure it's... ah, you know GROWN in, you know, like, perhaps the lower gravity setup makes you able to grow a better strain of... whatever it will be, WHEAT etc ah, so there you go

Every time Chris opens his mouth, I realize he honestly is developmentally disabled, and in no circumstances should be in charge of this project. But we don't have investors to bring the hammer down, and we don't have a publisher to do it either. Supposedly the burn rate is between 2~3 million a month. 36 million a year, estimated.

I'd say they have about 30 million left in the tank, because as they grew they didn't hire steadily, just in bursts. Who knows though, how many 20k coffee machines are out there. I think they make it to the middle of 2017 before things go down.

From 10 for the Chairman: Episode 44 (2014.11.10)

Q: With 90% of the universe's inhabitants being AI, will what we do effect (sic) some of them follow our lead. For example, if a subsection of the community try to setup a blockade, will a subset of the NPCs join in help while others oppose?

A: Well definitely the actions of players in the world and the economy will affect AI, because essentially the AI are program... they have you know, I've given the example of, ah, um, you know, FACTORY needs ah, TEN TONS OF ORE, so basically creates a mission says, "I want someone to deliver TEN TONS OF ORE" someone takes the mission, whether it's an AI or a player to deliver TEN TONS OF ORE. They get attacked by PIRATES! Uhm, the shipment doesn't get through the factory, the factory doesn't have raw materials now it can't be making the goods that it needs to make, so it puts another mission out for another TEN TONS OF ORE but THIS TIME it also hires some MERCENARIES to escort the merchant ship bringing the TEN TONS OF ORE because PIRATES have attacked it.

Ah, so now all of a sudden it's hired either... either... other... other NPCs or other players, to be... part of the mission the second time around to make sure that the shipment of ore comes through. And so all the AI sort of have CAUSE and REACTION stuff that happens, ah, that is CAUSE and REACTION to something that a player does or something that an AI does so, a... player's action... will... have a CAUSE and EFFECT inside the ECONOMY which will, um, essentially have either AI or the players sort of react to those actions so ah, I would say that, eh, ah, if you're doing a blockade then em, for instance, the economic nodes on the planet that need the stuff, ah, would probably be hiring AI or other players to help break the blockade, and the players, uhm, PERFORMING the blockade could hire other AI or PLAYERS to help 'em, ahm, you know, keep the blockade, so, there you go.

And the clip I just did from 2014 is very different to the latest one in that CR does appear to have gone quite mad over the last couple of years.

Let me tell you a little story about my father, a fully functioning stoner for the past 55 years of his life. He's been a small business owner most of his life and was a super hard worker (now retired). However, for every day of his life, he wakes up and gets stoned... didn't smoke much during the workday, but instantly hardcore stoned lying on the floor listening to moody blues records once work was over.

Several years ago he and I went to a pinball convention in Las Vegas, driving in from SoCal. He was smoking various joints for most of the drive and couldn't make his brain function well enough to check into the hotel, I had to check in for him. Everything he said was mumbly and full of 'uh, yeah, you know, um' a lot like Roberts. So we wake up the next morning, he immediately lights a half a j and kills it. Then, and I SWEAR TO GOD, it took him 32 minutes to put his loving socks on. I sat and watched. It was like watching a display in a museum or something. He'd start putting a sock on, get halfway done, get distracted by something. A thought, light, air, whatever, then he'd look down at his half on sock very confused and take it off. A minute or so later, he'd remember he didn't have socks on and start again.

I've barely touched weed since that weekend.

38 Studios isn't in a world of trouble, they don't exist anymore. And the main owners of 38 (curt schilling etc) have pretty much no money left that can be recovered, as far as anyone knows.

The people who are in a world of trouble right now are the guys who looked at the 38 studios loan request and said "this looks like a great place to put the state's money, A+ plan very safe investment". Those people were supposed to be working in the state's interest but turned out to be taking money from both sides and basically greasing the big deal so they'd get big commissions.

That didn't happen for CIG / Star Citizen. Basically there's a world of difference between ripping off a bunch of people by lying and overpromising, versus defrauding the state.
