And the fact is they haven't been doing their research or paying attention to Oh Holy One Christ Roberts, who said that vaulting and stances and parkour are coming in alpha 2.3. It was actually Frontier who were refusing to release a roadmap whilst CIG were throwing dates out on powerpoint presentations over the last two years. It was only very recently that Braben published a roadmap for season 2 of Elite because you know what, people had paid money for it up front and they deserved SOME kind of idea of what was coming and when.

I'm surprised nobody just unironically tells him the real reason they can't give any dates as if it's a good thing. When the scope and requirements of the project are completely fluid and nobody is working on anything in particular towards any specific deadline, nobody knows when anything is going to be done. They're not hiding dates from us, they genuinely don't have to give because they have no idea what they're doing. It's like asking someone lost in a jungle how long it'll take them to get home. And this is good for

So someone in that thread posted a link to a list of milestones with this as the top comment:  I then had to find their thoughts on the best game ever.  This is their only other post about Star Citizen. I absolutely love that they think this game is in a state to attract new players in anything but screenshot form.
