So do we want the kickstarter to fail or not? Obviously I don't want thieves to prosper, but the hilarity gets dragged out if they succeed and then get sued by artists.
I want Ladyman to succeed and Archer to pound sand. I can't figure what proprietary value he brings but the liabilities are now obvious.

I feel the same mixed emotions about CIG. I want Chris and Sandi to fail but want the Foundry guys to succeed. They could've made a great high fidelity space dogfighter free of all the bumpernuts Chris has added trying overcompensate for his insecurities about having not made a game in ages... Now SQ42 is so loaded down with them it can barely move...

Here in Montreal (I would say Canada but they have little in common) you would have inspectors but they wouldn't give a poo poo as long as the thing is in French. On the other hand the illegal betting organized by those-businessmen-that-are-totally-not-the-mafia would make the game really interesting.

I asked in the chat if they were complying with Twitch guidelines and Federal law for giveaways. Somebody whispered me to "be nice", then the stream cut out.

I'm sure it's coincidental timing, but lol.

I think we won that match thanks to 4945 manhandling the entire team onto the ramp (every robot entirely on the gray part leading up to the tower is worth points).

You never know who'd kill you for a nickel until someone else offers them that nickel, nice though they appear on the surface. Ben has lied to and robbed people in the name of his hero - that makes him a henchman at best. I have no sympathy.

Just think, when croberts shilled even Infinity Battlescape, it didn't make a dent. And this measly $50K project, is still staggering to the gate.

There are no art sources obscure enough to stop Goons from finding and outing it within moments of its unveiling. It's a fool's errand these people are on. You'd have to be insane to allow yourself to be even tangentially linked to Star Citizen at this point.

Yeah, right. Once the game is funded they'll just get the cheapest art, plastic and cardboard known to man and deliver it. Why would they do otherwise? Because they are expecting a lot of boardgame nerds to buy an old game that is out of production? It is out of production for a reason.
