Leaking Pipes and Objectivist Gripes - Let's Play Bioshock (picture is link) I'll be playing the game on the highest difficulty, Survivor. If an enemy on Normal mode has 100% health then that same enemy on Survivor mode has 240% health. Enemies simply being bullet sponges would be bad enough but Survivor mode also gives enemies vastly improved accuracy, agility, and ability to deal damage. Survivor mode enemies deal 150% the damage their Normal mode counter parts deal. Certain upgrades and items are also more expensive on Survivor mode. Finally restorative items are less effective and loot is much rarer. The other difference in this LP is having Vita Chambers disabled. For the uninitiated Vita Chambers are small chambers scattered around every map. Jack respawns in one whenever an enemy kills him. Having Vita Chambers disabled means dying leads to a game over and reloading your last save, adding a new layer of difficulty to the game. I will also be aiming for a completionist playthrough though some items might not be obtainable due to the difficulty restrictions. EmmyOk fucked around with this message at 02:25 on Mar 19, 2016 |

 I'm playing through this interesting little point and click game written largely by real author Harlan Ellison. Will be running all scenarios two times, once doing making more sensible choices, and then making all the not so sensible ones. I've been planning on doing an LP of a certain third game in a series (of which I may or may not have already LPed some) of PlayStation 3 exclusive sci-fi shooters as if it were a work of literature by a certain famous author. Until then, though, I'm doin' some casual LPs with some friends! First, I'm running through Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Remastered really quickly with some friends in toe. It's just a quick look to show off that this updated version has ensured that Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is still an absolute blast to play.  Second, CJacobs and I are checking out one of the most extreme games of the 90s. It's a game so ahead of its time that it LPs itself. (I mean that literally--the game has a whole MST3K thing going on within its cutscenes). It's OFF-WORLD INTERCEPTOR EXTREMEAnyways, come to the Casual thread and hang out if you're interested. To shout out to the other Casual LPers, you should also check out some of the other LPs going on in there. There's a lot of good content in this thread.

After procrastinating for literally years, I finally broke down and started a Let's Play of Master of Orion III  MO3 is the only game of the series I've extensively played and I love this dumb old flawed game. But since even love can't conquer the many bugs of Master of Orion 3, I'm playing a patched, fan-patched and heavily modded version of the game, so your experience will be 100% above what you could expect when playing vanilla MO3.
