windows lets me use three monitors with my t530, linux can't even get 2 working all the time, once in a while it'll detect a second one but not often. having to use bumblebee optimus nvidia drivers doesn't help

I got everything working the way I liked it and installed fglrx according to a set of instructions that involved patching the driver and downgrading the X server and it broke again in exactly the same way I'm switching to ubuntu

the opensource amd gpu drivers are actually best at everything else than 3D, and even with 3D it's often good enough. fglrx is only for ~hardcore linux gaming~ or CAD
