I've been thinking of getting a custom plate with the yellow "save our farms" background to match the paint though, I'm not fond of how the current one looks.

Glad I'm not the only one that picked my license plate based on the color. $25 a year is well worth not having the red, white, and blue Idaho monstrosity.

NitroSpazzz posted:Is that your daily driver or a fun car for weekends? I've talked to a few people around here that daily them and they absolutely love it. Despite what the car is capable of they say it's very comfortable and livable with for an only car. Though that seems to be more common for super cars and beyond these days. It was my daily, but I moved to within 10 mins from work, so often just walk in. You can absolutely daily drive it - the suspension was leagues ahead of the C63 I had, and even in manual it's easy to row the gears in traffic. Clutch is super easy, good visibility all round. I put a tune, exhaust, and pedal mod on the car so it's a little rawer now, but would still be happy to daily it if I needed to.

The only things I'm missing between these two are something comfy, and a pickup to get stuff dumped into the back off a front-end loader. ...And a front-end loader, I'm missing that too.

I just bought some rolls of 3M 1080 vinyl from Amazon and did it myself. It was my first time doing vinyl so I made a lot of mistakes, but it looks okay from a distance. I suggest coming up with a simple design and trying it yourself. Probably you'll get comfortable enough to try more complicated designs and then your jeep becomes a canvas and you can switch out the vinyl whenever you get bored. There's a lot more work to do to complete the Ivan Stewart look on my but I'll write a build thread later on this week.

First decent picture I have in the two drat years I've owned it. 2000 A6 2.7T quattro with the 6 speed Comparatively light for a full size luxo sedan at 3750 lbs, but moves pretty well with ~300HP after a mild tune EDIT Is this better? My browser automatically resizes like all modern browsers should, so I have no clue is this shows up as an acceptable size or not. I just realized this is the first car I've kept for more than 18 months (except for project cars that never get finished but they don't count) intheflesh fucked around with this message at 15:22 on Apr 10, 2016 |

How are people still not realizing how to post images from their phones? Nice flowers and fence though I guess? Edit: vv well I guess it's my browser then because that image is 3500 pixels wide and it's showing all of it. There's nothing in the post to make it scale but I guess some browsers take it upon themselves to do that now. davebo fucked around with this message at 07:28 on Apr 10, 2016 |

Those Maximas with the 3.5L VQ motor are deceptive-goddamn-ly quick to. At least the one I drove ('05) seemed that way to me at the time. It definitely taught me a practical lesson about torque steer.
