Hey, Derek Smart, what are you up to these days? Are you working on a game or some other creative project or have you moved on to other stuff, like accounting and marriage or whatever? Not that any of those are exclusive, really. Just thought it would be neat to see some recent stuff. I haven't heard your name since Battlecruiser 2000(or something like that) but keeping tabs on tabletop rpg indie guys is more my thing, so I haven't really kept up on the video games front.

Regardless, continue doing the Lord's work.

You know, I actually believe the Wing Commander poo poo, because it all makes sense now. I mean, how else could someone become a literal religious fanboy of such a horrible franchise, if his moms didn't raise him from little feet to worship it like a religion like he clearly does, what with his Pilgrim's Cross and all that he still to this day wears around his neck.

This explains so much and tho hosed up if true, it even makes me shift a bit back to pitying the fat slob.

Thing is, Ben got older and then his private creepiness turned into public creepiness. For example in his job for the spaceship scam guy, he did things like "side with a rat-faced man who sent a picture of his penis to a woman on the forum" against the woman he sent it to. Also other instances of him being a scumbag to women. Plus there's how he's been so enthusiastic about scamming mentally ill people out of money.

What makes Ben's previous, private creepiness matter is that it sheds light on his recent, public creepiness. It helps put it into context, helps establish a pattern of behavior, see.

If he's still your friend you need to get a message to him: get help. He's dying of obesity on twitch.tv, and his boss, who at times comes across as barely human, delights in feeding him piles of sweets for the viewers.

These revelations about Ben could save his life if his friends really care, if they're really willing to confront him and tell him it's time for big changes.
