No offense, I mean I hate to say negative things about another gal's beauty stuff, but your press-ons are apparently horrifying. Holy balls, man.

Those are indeed coke nails, here's another delightful set.

I got them as a kind-of joke in a super shady CVS so it's ok. They were 2-3 inches long, and I could not do daily tasks but it was funny nonetheless.

Here's some content

Even with the correct spelling though it's going to be a lovely tattoo imo. Both content and quality wise. That lettering on 'born' is pretty questionable

Friend who does nothing but talk about how much she loves books and reading and Stephen King just got a Dark Tower (her favorite book) quote for her first tattoo. Much like literally everyone else on the internet, she got the quote wrong.

I posted this screenshot before she flipped out in the comments and messaged me to tell me that I ruined her life.

So the difference is a comma instead of a period? I'm not sure that's really such a big deal. But then again, it's not my tattoo.

I've got Maxwell's equations and also the Voyager Golden Record in a sleeve and I made drat sure everything was right and where it is supposed to be.

I think if you're getting a quote with no other artistic elements in the tattoo it's unforgivable to not get it exactly right. If it was wrapping around a banner or done in some interesting typographical way I wouldn't care. It's also not a grammatically correct sentence with the comma.

I would have used a colon or a semicolon regardless of what Stephen King wrote.

But that's irrelevant since I don't think I would end up with a quote from the Dark Tower books on my body unless it was a temporary tattoo with a picture of Idris Elba.

I mean yeah, that butterfly is dumb and bad, but I don't hate it or the dude who has it. Crappy butterfly tattoo covering your rear end? At least isn't made of dicks, or directly surrounding the anus, or any number of other gross things we've seen. At least it isn't photorealistic pony porn. You do you, butt-erfly guy.

It's completely unremarkable, I was just amused/irritated for a few reasons.

* My wife is heavily tattooed and is very involved in the scene where we live, so all of our friends who are first timers usually go to her for advice and then (almost always) completely ignore it (like she did)

* I googled the quote just to see if she hosed it up out of curiosity and the FIRST RESULT on is the Wikipedia page for the book which has it correct

* She claims it's her favorite quote from her favorite book and she got it wrong

* She posts nonstop about how you're an idiot if you mess up spelling and grammar stuff, and she got a tattoo of a grammatically incorrect sentence

Yes, I'm an idiot for caring at all about any of this. Don't worry I know.

She sounds insufferable. There's so much cool or at least more interesting imagery you could use and have a banner wrapped around it with the quote, but no, "this story means so much to me! So much, in fact, I can't think of anything more inspired than a bit of plain text."
