I have ever since I saw one grab a chipmunk out of our yard a few years ago. And she's piebald so much easier to spot than a 'munk. So I stand out there with her. This could possibly help--although I've since moved to a city instead of the suburbs, and our little sideyard is tiny and surrounded by tall buildings, so maybe it's less of an issue than I thought. Still, if I thought my cat would wear this sweater...

I am anxiously awaiting the results of a biopsy my black Lab just had that could determine whether he has cancer. Needless to say, I am a loving wreck and probably will be for the next 3 days. Please, cute thread...help me out. I need your weapons-grade stuff.

This has got to feel real weird for the dog. I mean, imagine you perceive a solid object in front of you to the point where you still think the solid object is there when you put your hand on the thin air where it would be, only to discover that it isn't when you go directly through it- still remaining unaware that it isn't actually there until you're all the way through. And like, maybe dogs don't have the mental capacity to conceptualize what I just described and so it doesn't seem weird to them, but I don't know if that's more or less scary to think about.
