I changed my mind.
I'm not sorry.
I'm going to the show tomorrow. They're coming on at 10 tonight according to Twitter which means they'll probably only play an hour 30. Wondering if they'll sneak any new songs into their set. If not it's pretty easy to predict what they'll play but I'm still excited.

forget about ur worries and ur strife
I'm trying to decide between Panorama and taking the risk that I'll be able to make it to a Barclays or Boston show, but it's next to impossible to figure out how large the venues they'll be playing are. In Boston, I'm sure they would sell out the Orpheum in 20 minutes, but I feel like Agganis would still have a thousand seats open, and Mansfield would be a complete nightmare both in sales and in logistics.

That said, I just found a copy of 45'33" in the local record store, so I finally finished my (limited to official 12" album) LCD collection!

Boston has terrible large venues for this type of band. Having room to dance sounds crucial.

I was there last night. It was really good. They somehow made Webster Hall sound good! I'm shocked.

It's crazy to me how much bigger they got after the breakup than they were before it. The last time I saw LCD Soundsystem in Chicago it was at a ~1000 capacity club on the This is Happening tour. Now they're headlining Lollapalooza to a crowd of 100,000.

Riviera show or the Aragon show? (Or neither; they might have had more?)

Eitherhow, I was at the Riv show and it was one of my best ever live experiences.

I watched some of those Webster videos and got legit chills. I can't wait for the new album, but I hope they don't break the streak of three near-perfect LPs.

It was at the Metro.

They played Aragon later that same year, I think.

Yeah! Three shows that year. That Metro show was amazing by all accounts.

I'm really hoping for a Chicago date that isn't Lolla. I can't handle it.

I had never heard LCD soundsystem before Bonnaroo this year. Went to their show on 2.5 hits of LSD and was absolutely floored the entire time. What a loving legend. I am so lucky I went to that show, and I can't believe how lucky I am to have gone to it having never heard them before, on LSD. Thank you Bonnaroo, thank you my own incredible ignorance. It was one of the best shows I have ever been to in my entire life, and that's including 6 bonnaroos and a shitload of other music festivals. I can't wait for them to release their new album.

I went Saturday and it was awesome as well. They played two extra songs due to starting a bit earlier - Time to Get Away and Yr City's a Sucker. They hadn't even played the latter at the MSG goodbye show.
