This seems apropos:  Also, I got her a vibrating mouse cat toy and she thinks it's amazing:  She figured out how to hold the mouse in her paws and pull the tail-string with her teeth to make it vibrate, but I couldn't manage to get a picture of her doing it, sadly.

My mother's schnauzer sure as hell knew who we meant by 'mommy,' and if you told the dog that 'Mommy's home!' the little nut would go nuts and zoom over to the garage door, dancing like a maniac, until my mom came in. When I was a kid and spent most of my waking time playing in the woods behind my house, my mom would send the dog after me when it was time to go in by tell her, 'Go find Boods!' So sure, dogs can learn their people's names

Got your cat's collision disabled, huh? Yeah, I've been there.  Darn thing got into noclip mode a couple of years ago and damned if I can get him back down. I tried disabling sv_cheats, typing 'idpispopd,' nothing works. We've all learned to live with it, but the other cat's pathing's been messed up ever since. flavor.flv has a new favorite as of 19:43 on May 12, 2016 |
