Let's get hyped for tomorrow! S04E07: Truths Other Than the Ones You Tell Yourself Overview: Fearing for Dawson’s safety, Lucas and Brock ramp up their efforts to hunt down Bode. With the Brotherhood poised to go to war with Proctor, Kurt looks to keep Maggie safe while Calvin takes out his frustrations at the office. Job settles a score with Leo Fitzpatrick, a Camp Genoa adversary. If any crazy poo poo is going to happen this season, it's gonna be here and/or next Friday. Tons of plot lines that need resolution, characters that need to clash, and a season that, from many viewers' perspectives, needs to stick the landing to live up to the insane first three seasons.

No final showdown between Carrie and lady deputy   the Carrie reveal that she still loves Hood. Way to make the shittiest s2 ep even shittier by having it mean nothing. The scene with Hood confessing to Brock was great though.Job is back  I want to find a better picture of that crazy cat shirt he was wearing. Also a high res image of that background on Leo's computer.Calvin is losing his poo poo.

Wow that was pure poo poo. So disappointed in this season and it's only gotten worse. So that was the end of the who killed Rebecca thing? That little fizzle? All loving season built up to that? And couldn't even see pointdexter (I always forget his name) kill all those nazis. And Brock was sooo surprised that Hood wasn't Hood and was a criminal? He's the one from the beginning that always doubted who he was. He's seen his badassness. I mean come on. Job getting revenge is GREAT, but it just came out of the blue like huh? A random scene stuck in between serial killer stuff and FBI McTits breaking down because she needed to get high or whatever. Pure poo poo. Looks like our finale will be just as bad if it's anything like this ep.

Apart from that scene with Job, this episode was boring as gently caress. Not getting to see evil smithers destroy those nazis was deeply unsatisfying. This whole season has been disappointing, which is a real shame considering how the past seasons had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

The only thing that will satiate me now is if that lame Satanist dude turns out to actually be Satan and it ends up with Hood, Proctor and Lotus fighting him on top of a burning train that is driving directly into Hell, and inside the train is a gargantuan gangsters vs. Hood Gang vs. cops vs. Nazis vs. Satanists vs. Cartel vs. Amish Royal Rumble and the entire budget is burnt up in one 30 minute orgy of violence. And then as the train goes into the void, Deva appears on-screen and goes: "Actually I killed Rebecca. Disgusting Coward is right about everything."

Wow, shocked y'all are so disappointed. I thought that was the best ep of season 4, some classic Banshee right there. We got Kai being ridiculous and beating his poor tortured henchman to death for the shame of being robbed by a guy called Calvin. We got Burton being a badass. We got Calvin being pathetic AND crazy. Walking shirtless through the office covered in blood and swastikas like that. God, can't wait for him to brutally die. We got some scenes of actual tension and a good breakdown for the satanists. Even Eliza Dushku got to do some stuff despite being tied up for most of the episode. We got Hood and Brock having a GREAT and satisfying and emotional scene with quality characterisation. We got Job and Sugar being all Job and Sugar. We got Job finally being full on fabulous again. We got to see Leo get his comeuppance in a legit clever, unpredictable and satisfying way. We got some good fight scenes. That was Banshee as hell, guys. My only questions are 1) is it just me or would Hood's leglock (does that count as a triangle?) have totally not strangled the evil doctor? 2) what the gently caress was with the lingering shot on the satanist corpse at the very end? I was expecting the eyes to open and the show to go full on supernatural and actually end with that fight between Hood and The Actual Satan as one goon prophecised. Brock's surprise made sense to me. It's one thing for Hood to be a criminal, but a guy who served fifteen years being the boss of a straight-arrow cop? Did you want lots of boring scenes of Job typing at a keyboard talking about how "we have to find Leo"? They did it in the most Banshee way possible. They used the Leo thing as a capstone to the subplot they've been building up of Job's slow recovery, that was the big "he's back" moment, and they didn't waste their time.

I'm almost positive that there's more to Rebecca's death and I'm guessing it was Burton or Cruz. Given Deva's reaction to the break-in and shooting that guy I'd be surprised if it was her.

Predicting the final episode opens with Burton murdering Deva to get back at Carrie, not realizing she's Hood's daughter. Shitstorm ensues wherein literally every character except Hood and Carrie dies. Then Hood and Carrie blame each other for not protecting Deva and shoot each other in the face. Then Job's computer catches fire and burns the entire town (including the Amish and Indian areas) to the ground. Banshee!

What a poo poo episode. I'm finally at the point where I'm glad this show is ending so I don't have to watch anymore. There was potential for a good last season but it was just wasted with a bunch of dumb stuff that is pointless. I literally had a laugh at Hood telling Brock he's an infiltration specialist after getting hit from behind by an untrained doctor and put into handcuffs that he can't escape from. Action was bad, and in some cases non-existant. They conveniently didn't actually tell us that the Satanist killed Rebecca, which means he probably didn't and his accomplice will let everyone know that next week. Or maybe they realized by this point that nobody cares and they just dropped the story figuring her getting killed by random Satanists was the best exit for her character. I'm also guessing Burton maybe because he thought Rebecca was making Kai soft and needed to get the old Kai back or something. Killing Cruz was another dumb choice and waste of a good fight later. I hope this means Eliza Dushku can leave the show and stop ruining good moments with terrible acting.

I didn't think it was bad but I am disappointed because I was hoping it would turn that everyone but the principal characters were satanists and finale would be like the end from Hot Fuzz with giant brawl between good guys and everyone in town.

Good episode. A bit slow paced for the penultimate episode of the series, but everything is set in place for the finale so hopefully it delivers. Great scenes with Hood and Brock. Working together, then the brilliant confession scene reflective of the whole series. And Job is back. Definitely sad that there's only one ep left.

I'm not digging this last season. I have faith that everything is going to go crazy in the last episode though, and it's not so bad that a good finale can't save it. Still, I wish the entire final season was just about getting Job back and knocking off Proctor/Nazis. The Satanists seemed like such a waste of time and wasn't at all interesting.

Yeah I definitely have been let down by this season but a strong series finale is almost necessary to pay this show the respect it deserves. Seasons 1-3 are simply fun television

Yeah, the whole subplot around the satanists could have worked so much better confined to just a single episode, if it had to be included at all. Set them up as the most apparent (but false) lead, and compress Hood/FBI lady going after them and getting captured into a single sequence. That way horns guy could have been a somewhat interesting/memorable tertiary antagonist for Hood to ruin in an inventive way, like that MMA guy in season one. Then they'd have set up some breathing room to do some of the other stuff, and from there on could have revealed that Rebecca's actual killer was still out there in a stinger that would have lead nicely into the big final confrontation between everyone.

I don't know why but I'm amped about this last episode. I just feel like its going to be a solid hour of crazy violence and probably some heartbreak. Like the finale of Spartacus, only in Pennsylvania.
