He will be doing a few rescheduled US dates as part of this tour, though. What I think - Axl's personality doesn't fit with the band. He has no warmth, no jollity. With Brian, you felt like you joined a party. But with Axl, you're just watching a show. He can hit the high notes in style, and that's all AC/DC really needed for a short-term replacement. But I personally do not want to see him continue any longer than he has to. Another thing - he only sounds good when he's screaming. When he uses his soft voice, it's like tossing a used dishcloth on the proceedings. I asked if he would mind taking a photo and he politely declined while nodding towards the pile of scalpers/fans. A bit disappointed I had a smoke and just stood there thinking poo poo this didn't work out well. Stevie came over and gave me one of his guitar picks with rock or bust on one side and a replica signature on the other. Classy move by him, he could have done nothing and just enjoyed himself outside. I thanked him for the pick and asked if he minded a quick question or two and he said sure. I asked how live wire got into the set and he said that was something cliff requested. Going with the flow I asked if cliff was getting time for a bass solo and Philly and Stevie said "I fuckin hope so it will give me a night off" which was funny. I told him thanks for the memories and I hope this isn't the end of ACDC and he said "talk to the boss". I told him the boss won't return my calls and again thanked him for his time. AC/DC is at a crossroads now I guess...is Angus really going to replace Brian permanently with a tribute band singer? It would be kind of a shame if they did, this would have been the perfect farewell tour. I suppose we won't hear anything for a few years, AC/DC usually goes into hibernation for a few years after a long tour like this
